Makes one pine for the glorious old days of war-making when some 300 sons of Sparta, with rough-hewn features and chiseled-abs, bravely marched into the valley of certain death to hold off the Persian hordes (who were undoubtedly emasculated and feminized — ‘cause, well, y’know — they weren’t Spartans…). Now, THOSE were men. And Spartans. And we all know, beyond a doubt, the Spartans practiced DADT. If not for that, then it might’ve been left to ultra-feminized Athens to win the day — and MY GOD, had that tragedy occurred, then surely all of our military, today, would undoubtedly be gay.

Myself included. Good lord, what will I tell me kids…?

Victor Davis Hanson:
“…there is no historical precedent that physical affection between those of the same sex has either undermined morale or diminished the fighting capacity of the army at large.

Bryan Fischer denies his AFA is a hate group, but I think there is no reason in the world to deny they are utterly stupid and bigoted. In Byran’s world a gay never died nor gave his life in defense of his country because he was incapable of it being a lesser human. Cretin says what?

I’m sure a man like Bryan Fischer, with his long and fabled military career, knows what he’s talking about. I mean, if he never ever served, then that would just make him an obnoxious bigot, and that’s just ridiculous.

They knew they could count on the strength, might, power, and cohesion of the U.S. military to intervene whenever and wherever necessary to pull their fannies out of the fire and squash the forces of tyranny wherever they raised their ugly heads around the world.

Those days are now gone.

Considering the way fundamentalist zealots like Fischer are trying to destroy science and education in this country, it’s obvious that they perfectly fine with the US losing it’s primary status in the world, just so long as it’s done in the name “bringing people to Jesus”.

re: #1 Leftwingconspirator

Heh. I see what you did there.
